Kewl Haze unleashes new single "Double Black Diamond," constructed out of a wide-ranging painting. The track is exact and of natural characteristics, percussion meets rise-and-fall dynamics, and angelic harmony vocals flow over guitars and outer-space synths. The whole thing is anchored by a highly melodic bass line in the chorus, propelling the track toward electro-dance-rock bliss.
Drawing on that emotional conflict, the track turned personal fate into an explosive piece of music. Behind the scenes, the band's secretive persons, Forreal and Sheehan, labored around the clock to realize the song. Both multi-instrumentalists, producers, singers, songwriters, and mix engineers in their own right, they moved between home studios and larger professional recording spaces, where they invented their sounds.
