Patch_t41b’s new single “EVERYDAY SOMEWHERE” is a meditation on how the present can feel both uncertain and certain, as time turns into blurry emotions and memory gets mixed with anticipation. The tune is built around a repeating chord progression that keeps going up, then into synthetic transition to communicate the tension between human expression and interference from the machine. The sound grows louder and the voice seems to be gradually immersed, so that one feels the pressure of reality upon one's consciousness.
