Jensen & Company are back, and this time they’re taking the listener where it feels as good as home on
"HOME." Recorded at Nashville, TN's famed Blackbird Studio, the new single marries classic musicianship with intimate storytelling, resulting in a sound that is both larger than life and incredibly close.
The song features legendary Jason Webb of CCM lore, contributing piano parts as soft as they are immaculate. Enhancing Webb’s keys, Amy Grant's backup singing sensation, Kim Keyes, adds her signature backing vocals, adding layers of warmth and depth to the tune. But what really distinguishes "HOME" is the original string section, all written and conducted by David Angell at Blackbird. The strings aren't there to provide accompaniment, they elevate the track, resulting in moments that tug at one’s heartstrings and remain with the listener long after it’s over.
"HOME" is the space where you can live, love and be you, say Jensen & Company. From the first note to the last, we wanted every listener to feel as though they’re walking into a place that knows them, welcomes them and is celebrating for them.
"HOME" is the perfect combination of classic studio craft and contemporary emo-storytelling that aims to connect with anyone who's ever longed to feel nostalgic, connected, or humanly paused. It’s evidence of what happens when great musicians convene in a space like Blackbird Studio, magic, authenticity, and a song that feels as if it was always meant for you.
