Spencer Alexander steps into the spotlight with “INO UNO (I KNOW YOU KNOW)”

Spencer Alexander, Savannah’s emerging indie talent is primed to make his mark with a new release titled “INO UNO (I KNOW YOU KNOW)." Even the title feels like a wink across the room, intimate, self-conscious and impossible to miss. And, as the phrase repeats, the song announces an artist embracing who he is.

Raised in Dallas, Texas, Alexander fell in love with rock and punk music from a young age and gravitated to the guitar as both a release and an anchor. Those formative influences gave him his edge, rough, forthright and instinct-driven. But his curiosity about music went further than that. Gradually, jazz stepped in, broadening his vocabulary and deepening his bond with rhythm, tone, and expression.

However, now based in Savannah, Georgia, he has traveled through the low-country in pursuit of a music degree, one that not only sharpened his technical skills but also brought his artistic identity into focus. That lived experience buzzes behind “INO UNO (I KNOW YOU KNOW),” reflecting years of movement, inquiry, and discovery.

Spencer Alexander is part of a new breed of indie artists who won’t be defined by one influence or expectation. His rock and punk roots provide guts, his appreciation for jazz adds dimension and nuance. The result is a backdrop for music that feels intimate and in progress.
