The story in the song starts with Jake from Oaken Lee, who found an old recording on his laptop that had been sitting there for a while. Dusty, but it could be good. Jake sent the piece to Tim of CutWires as a first idea for a new collaboration called Oaken Wires.
What happened next changed that tape so much that it was almost unrecognizable. Jake added new vocals, bass, and electric guitars, while Tim added keys, drums, and a lot of electronic sounds. The song is about coming together in hard times, figuring out when an era is over, and when to let it go.
