Erinn Alissa turns loss into lasting light on new sngle "Jacaranda Trees"

Erinn Alissa has released a haunting, dreamy folk-pop ballad called "Jacaranda Trees" about memory. It came out after she lost a place she used to call home. "Jacaranda Trees" is a song that makes you think about how losing something important can leave you feeling sad. It has a soft guitar and personal story. The song is about the heartbreak of seeing a home turn to ashes while knowing that all the memories connected to it are still alive and well. It was written after Erinn's own experience following the Palisades Fire in January.

Erinn Alissa's amazing singing was both controlled and restrained, but it also made people think deeply. Her voice tells the story of the song in a way that is shockingly clear, letting each lyric breathe instead of burying the listener in a lot of flashy embellishment. The music on "Jacaranda Trees" is soft, and the lyrics are sad, which makes personal grief feel bigger. People who have lost a home, a chapter of their life, or a place that was once very important to them will understand its quiet pain.
