Jitensha questions the masks we wear on latest release “Telling Lies”

Jitensha’s ''Telling Lies'' explores the gap between who we are and who we learn to become, and how exhausting that can be. The song is about trying to be yourself while still acknowledging society’s expectations, even if something deep down says the role is wrong. It’s the emotional weight of the lies we tell ourselves to keep going until we can no longer carry those compromises. "Telling Lies" reminds us that survival without authenticity can be a form of disappearance.
