Sylva Faye finds vindication, grief, and grace in latest release “LHF.”

Sylva Faye’s new single “LHF.” shifts between two very different emotional landscapes to create a picture of accusation, loss, and hard-won freedom.  The emotional contrast is especially effective against the weight of the verses, made possible by a fragile breath of light guitar plucking. And so, “LHF.” is less a reopened wound than it is a statement of hard-won vindication, a farewell to those lost, and a subtle victory in imagining that someone, somewhere, may still miss her here graciously.
