Big Jon Unleashes His Inner Superhero on “Powers”

Big Jon brings superhero fantasy into hip-hop with “Powers,” his fourth single and a standout selection from the EP Here I Come. Built around the playful idea of fighting crime and protecting people with extraordinary abilities, the track references iconic characters from DC and Marvel, including Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, and the X-Men. The concept gives the song a lighthearted personality, setting it apart from more conventional rap themes. With an upbeat, dance-oriented direction at its core, “Powers” aims to deliver entertainment while showcasing Big Jon's imaginative songwriting. It's a spirited addition to his growing catalogue, built for listeners who enjoy music that doesn't take itself too seriously.
