Blackbird teams up with Tommy Speechless on "Breathtaker," their third collaboration, a synthpop-meets-electropop arrangement that's both bright and reflective. The tune aims to be more than a reflective trip, taking classic influences and placing them in a fresher, modern context. The smooth sound and melodic focus make it an inviting proposition for fans of momentum-driven pop. "Breathtaker" is a throwback, but it's also very much a product of the present.
