Kev Adkins, songwriter, vocalist, and co-founder of indie-pop outfit Franklin Gotham, steps into a new creative chapter with his debut solo single, “Last Life.” Built around a gritty, hypnotic banjo hook and atmospheric dark-country textures, the track signals a compelling shift from his established musical background. Adkins brings more than two decades of experience to this release, drawing on a journey that includes Celtic-rock outfit Icewagon Flu and Franklin Gotham’s acclaimed collection of EPs. His continued chemistry with Jarrett Nicolay, alongside collaboration with UK producer Adam James, gives this solo venture an intriguing foundation for further artistic exploration.
