Ghost River Revival delivers a haunting transformation with “Lotion”

Ghost River Revival's "Lotion" unflinchingly reinterprets a well-known cult classic into something entirely its own. Released as a Halloween special, the track pays tribute to Greenskeepers and the lasting cultural footprint of The Silence of the Lambs, while also embracing a new artistic identity. The reimagining is clever and inventive, keeping the essence of the source material while unlocking new emotional and sonic dimensions. "Lotion" is a risky cover that feels both thoughtful and strangely timely.
