Gooseberry expose the cost of cynicism on "Gnash"

Gooseberry’s “Gnash” is a guitar-driven rock sound with a 1990s vibe and an interesting character study. The track is in 7/4 time and immediately sets itself apart, but it stays approachable thanks to its strong melodic foundation. The song is written from the point of view of someone who sees life as a brutal contest where the boldest come out on top. Gooseberry strikes a pleasing balance of humor, criticism, and self-awareness.
