John Lowery revisits the places that shaped him on “My Hometown”

John Lowery’s “My Hometown” is an ode to the places and memories that make up who we are. The song is based on the idea of returning to where life started and looking back at the experiences that continue to matter even after someone has left. This inward look gives the track an emotional basis in remembrance, place, and transformation. “My Hometown” invites us to reflect on the people and places that shaped us and recognize how the past continues to travel with us.
