Maria Ria's "Farfalla" explores the personal side of transformation, when becoming someone new feels right, but you aren't ready to tell the world yet. The imagery of the butterfly, the night air and the distant vibration of a club suggests a soft transition into a world suspended between solitude and celebration. The contrast creates an interesting emotional space for the song, the possibility of freedom appears but it's something to feel privately. Maria Ria's idea is to find beauty in this unfinished stage of becoming, to embody the anticipation, openness, and quiet courage of testing your wings before stepping into the light.
