Metaphysical confronts wealth and inequality on “Tricky Times”

“Tricky Times” by Metaphysical targets greed among Los Angeles's wealthiest and questions the disparity seen across East Coast cities. The lyrics contrast people who acquire wealth with estates and boroughs where poverty is visible and rarely sympathized with. The track points to the unequal realities behind that phrase. “Tricky Times” frames its criticisms around urban inequality, posing uncomfortable questions about wealth, compassion, and who gets left behind.
