Nowhere Dept. retell a Titanic survival story with whiskey-soaked folk rock on “Titanic's Lame

Nowhere Dept.’s “Titanic’s Lament” uses a dirtbag folk-rock style to tell the extraordinary survival story of Charles Joughin, the Titanic’s baker who reportedly drank himself silly while the ship went down. Joughin reportedly went into the freezing Atlantic, survived hours in the water, and came through with little or no injury. “Titanic’s Lament” examines one remarkable survivor and the bizarre circumstances of his escape, offering a decidedly irreverent take on a familiar sea disaster.
