Tuff Sunshine say enough is enough on latest release “Flat Rat”

Tuff Sunshine’s ''Flat Rat'' is a gritty, unforgettable metaphor for urban exhaustion. The song is about being kicked around, over and over again, by city life, then dreaming of escape to the woods, and breaking the self-medicating cycles used to survive everyday pressure. Its most searing idea is that we are all the rat and sometimes the ones doing the kicking. That contradiction gives the song some real teeth. Tuff Sunshine turns frustration into catharsis, the perfect expression of finally saying enough and leaving. “Flat Rat” is raunchy, restless, and relatable, especially if you’ve ever been crushed by modern city living.
