Zulavay debuts in the alt-pop space with "Monsters," which immediately evokes the fears, insecurities, and darker thoughts people often rassle with. The song's concept is to make us face what makes us uncomfortable, whether it's external forces or the parts of ourselves we'd prefer to keep buried. The song builds tension and curiosity, but leaves the theme open to the listener's interpretation. ''Monsters'' lets us turn private fears into something public, recognizable, and emotionally engaging.
