Animal Future finds uneasy comfort in the darkness of “It's a Scam”

Animal Future’s “It's a Scam” captures the atmosphere of a late-night drive with no company but your own thoughts.  Its central mood is unapologetically brooding, following the inner dialogue that can surface when darkness leaves room for reflection.  The song sits with uncertainty and the search for some small measure of comfort.  “It’s a Scam” is for the hours when the road keeps moving but the mind circles the same questions, looking for light without pretending the darkness has gone away.
