Calibre 50, one of the most iconic groups in regional Mexican music, has done it again! The group’s latest hit, "El Amor De Mi Vida," just shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart for the Nov. 2 issue, marking an impressive 26th chart-topper for the band—a record in the genre.
With 6.6 million U.S. audience impressions during the Oct. 18-24 tracking week (a 14% jump in airplay), “El Amor De Mi Vida” surged past La Fiera de Ojinaga and Tapy Quintero’s “El Mejor De Mis Días,” now at No. 5 after a 16% decline in audience. This win continues Calibre 50’s legacy, broadening their lead over Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, which holds 21 No. 1s.
