Tyler, the Creator’s new era is already taking off, as his single “Noid” surges onto Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (Nov. 2) at No. 9, despite limited time in the chart’s tracking window. Released Monday, Oct. 21, "Noid" quickly amassed 10.5 million U.S. streams in just four days, landing it at No. 6 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart.
Marking Tyler’s fourth top-10 track on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, “Noid” joins hits like “Earfquake” (No. 5 in 2019) and “Wusyaname” (No. 6 in 2021). Elsewhere, “Noid” debuts at No. 6 on Hot Rap Songs and at No. 43 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
“Noid” sets the stage for Chromakopia, Tyler's latest album, which also launched off-cycle on Oct. 28, creating fierce competition for Billboard’s album charts for the Oct. 25-31 tracking week. This release follows 2021’s Call Me If You Get Lost, which scored Tyler his second consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
