Following an award-winning year, Chris Chitsey and Bee Smith take a meaningful turn with “Be Mary,” a Country Christian Christmas single centered on faith, hope, and trusting God through uncertainty. Inspired by Mary's biblical story, the song explores the courage required to remain faithful when life takes unexpected directions. Its message reaches beyond seasonal celebration, offering comfort to listeners navigating fear, loneliness, or difficult circumstances. Rather than revisiting the romantic energy of their previous hit, the duo embraces a more spiritual direction that reflects the deeper purpose of Christmas. “Be Mary” stands as a heartfelt reminder that hope can flourish even when the way forward remains unclear.
